The "Carbon Footprint-CO2 Emission Footprint" is a system used to assess the impacts of a company's activities on the environment and more specifically on climate change. It includes a study of measuring the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by all direct and indirect operations of the company (electricity & water consumption, staff transportations, transportation of supplies and goods) and an integrated action plan for reducing gas emissions.
The implementation of reducing gas emissions plan can lead to the production of climate neutral products/ services, provided the CO2 Emissions are compensated with projects or environmental protection practices (so that it finally nullifies the footprint).
