ISO 14064 is a standard that specifies the general requirements for the establishment of a Greenhouse Gas Management System aiming at quantification, monitoring, reduction and verification of greenhouse gas emissions. It is designed to help confronting climate change and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the consistency, transparency and reliability of quantifying greenhouse gas emissions.
ISO 14064 is consisted of three sub-parts:

ISO 14064-1, that provides details on the principles and requirements for the design, development, management of a company's greenhouse gases.

ISO 14064-2, that focuses on projects specifically designed to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions or to avoid GHG emissions.

ISO 14064-3, that provides details on the principles and requirements for verifying GHG inventories or GHG projects.
Adressed to: - all companies and organizations regardless their type, size, product or provided service (primary production, processing, trade, services, handicrafts, industry), that aim to better monitoring and greenhouse gas emissions reduction and to their carbon footprint reduction.
