SA 8000 is an international standard of the Social Accountability International (SAI) Organization for the ethical management on the working environment. The SA 8000 Standard is based on internationally recognized standards of decent work, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions, national laws and the UN Convention on Human Rights. The SA 8000 standard is one of the most recognized standards of Corporate Social Responsibility and provides the tangible proof of ensuring fair working conditions with respect to employees' human. It sets the standards for improving working conditions and ensuring human rights.
