INTERVENTION P3-73-2.2 “Investments in Agricultural Holdings that contribute to Water Saving”
INTERVENTION P3-73-2.6 “Circular Economy Investments and Energy Investments in Agricultural Holdings”
The objective of the Interventions is to strengthen the modernisation and competitiveness of agricultural holdings, strengthen rational water management and water saving, and focus on the green transition through the circular economy and energy investments.

Be adults, up to 63 years old, with full legal capacity.

Be registered in the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings (Law 3874/2010, Government Gazette A 151) as professional farmers (not newly entering professional farmers), or be beneficiaries of Intervention P3-75.1 (Setting up of Young Farmers).

Declare, at minimum, turnover from agricultural activity in the income tax return at an amount not lower than 30 percent of their own contribution.

Have submitted an admissible Single Application for Aid for the year 2025.
-
Be up to date with social security and tax obligations.
-
Not be directly eligible for retirement from any fund in Greece or abroad, except for retirement due to disability under Article 37 of Law 3996/201 and Article 5, paragraph g, of Law 1287/1982.

Have agriculture as their main activity and at least 50 percent of their turnover for the year specified in the call must come from agricultural activities.
-
Be registered in the General Commercial Registry.

Have submitted an admissible Single Application for Aid for the year 2025.
-
Be up to date with tax and social security obligations.
-
Have an indefinite duration or at least until 2036.
-
Be judicially solvent.
-
Declare, at minimum, turnover from agricultural activity in the income tax return at an amount not lower than 30 percent of their own contribution.

Have agriculture as their main activity.
-
Consist of at least 20 members, or at least 10 members if the collective scheme invests in livestock production and or beekeeping.
-
Be registered and in good standing in the relevant register.
-
Maintain separate accounting management where the collective scheme operates under another legal entity.
-
Show, for the three financial years preceding the year of submission,
-
a profitable average of results before taxes and depreciation, and
-
an average turnover greater than 60,000 euros.
-

Collective schemes established on 1.1.2023 or later are exempt from this specific obligation.
-
Be up to date with tax and social security obligations. Where the collective scheme operates under another legal entity, the obligation applies to that legal entity.

Be judicially solvent. Where the collective scheme operates under another legal entity, the obligation applies to that legal entity.
-
Have authorised one natural person to act as implementation manager for the purposes of the Intervention.
The agricultural holdings of the applicants must meet the following conditions
-
The entire holding must be included in the Single Holding Declaration for the year 2025.
-
The holding must have a minimum production capacity size, expressed as standard output, of 12,000 euros, according to the Single Holding Declaration for the year 2025.
-
They produce agricultural products included in the list of Annex I of the Treaty (Article 42).
-
They comply with the relevant EU standards, except for holdings of young farmers setting up for the first time, who are granted a compliance period.
-
Investment plans that include irrigation equipment must obligatorily include the installation of a water meter and comply with paragraphs 4 to 7 of Article 74 of Regulation (EU) 2021/2115.
-
Establishment, relocation, construction, extension and modernisation of agricultural buildings and structures.
-
Purchase of land up to 10 percent of the eligible expenditure of the plan.
-
Purchase, transport and installation of new machinery and other equipment.
-
Purchase, transport and installation of plantations with a productive life of at least five years, where establishment is not carried out using seed.
-
Fencing and configuration of plots, and fencing of plantations or investments.
-
Purchase of a new floriculture and beekeeping vehicle.
-
Mechanical equipment and installations for energy production from renewable energy sources to cover the holding’s needs.
-
Modernisation investments and mechanical equipment for energy saving.
-
Building installations and mechanical equipment for the recovery, processing and reuse of agricultural and livestock waste and by products at source.
-
Purchase, transport and installation of new machinery and other equipment aimed at water saving.
-
Investments in land improvement works within agricultural holdings.
-
Purchase and installation of computers and farm management software, communications equipment and office equipment.
-
General costs, including any service procurement cost directly linked to the implementation of the investment plan.
Support is granted as a subsidy on paid expenses.
The support rate amounts to
-
up to 70 percent for energy saving investments, energy production from renewable energy sources, and reduction of irrigation water
-
up to 60 percent for cutting edge technology equipment, environmental equipment, and livestock and beekeeping equipment
-
up to 50 percent for agricultural tractors, attachments and other expenditure
For the 60 percent and 50 percent categories, an increase applies
-
plus 10 percent for young farmers and for investments in the North Aegean and South Aegean
-
plus 5 percent for ESDIM areas
The maximum aid rate is 70 percent and 60 percent respectively.
The total budget of the call amounts to

200 million euros for Intervention P3-73-2.1

21.9 million euros for Intervention P3-73-2.2

40.7 million euros for Intervention P3-73-2.6
with co financing from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Hellenic Republic, and allocation of the public expenditure among the Regions of the country.
The maximum requested budget cannot exceed
-
For applications for investments in renewable energy sources, 200,000 euros for natural and legal persons and 500,000 euros for collective schemes. For investments in biogas production from livestock holdings, 2,500,000 euros.

For applications exclusively concerning investments aimed at water saving, 150,000 euros for natural and legal persons and 250,000 euros for collective schemes.
-
For applications concerning other investment plans in crop production, beekeeping and sericulture, 200,000 euros for natural and legal persons and 400,000 euros for collective schemes.

For applications concerning other investment plans in livestock production, 400,000 euros for natural and legal persons and 500,000 euros for collective schemes.
Submitting an application for support does not create an obligation for approval by the Hellenic Republic. The measure is competitive and applications are assessed, scored and ranked based on their score.
