IFS - International Food Standard
IFS is a standard that defines the specific requirements for food safety, legality and quality that must be met by companies that process and / or package food. The IFS Food standard has been set up by the German, French and Italian Retailers' Federations, with the aim of constituting a valuable tool for controlling the common approach of retailer supplier management systems.
Adressed to: companies that are active in the food production (processing and / or packaging of food or ingredients used in food production) and are interested in entrying mainly into the market of Super Market chains in Great Britain, as well as in other demanding foreign markets.
